Boggart:
Boggarts are mischievous creatures from the United Kingdom known for their ability to change the weather and having the power to bring bad luck. They are considered both demons and spirits. Boggarts are elusive and can make objects disappear from homes, similar to ghosts. Signs of a Boggart's presence include spoiled milk, an indescribable stench, and burrows near a home.
Despite their malevolent reputation, Boggarts are skittish and difficult to catch. They are sometimes mistaken for gophers, but they are not. When confronted, Boggarts are known to grab people by the earlobes and wildly hang and swing on them. They may also sneak into rooms at night and whisper evil secrets. Other names for Boggarts include bug, bugbear, bugaboo, bogey, bogun, bogeyman, bogle, blongle, blimpy blob, blommy, ball-teller, boogieboogieboogie, marsh wells, swamp guys, prince of the kingdom, etc.
Habitat:
Boggarts typically inhabit swamps or marshes, but have been found in more suburbian areas. They create small burrows for shelter. A key feature of a Boggart Den is the presence of three scratch marks near the entrance, believed to be made by the Boggart as it cleans its clawed feet from mud.
Weaknesses:
To defeat a Boggart you must create a shape using salt, and shape will work, once the salt shape is closed any nearby Boggart will burst into flames. This method can be used any kind of salt.
